Metallica’s concert in Barcelona
The mythical band Metallica, maximum exponent of Thrash Metal, will perform in Barcelona next May 5th.
The concert is part of the WorldWired Tour, which is making them perform around the world since November 2016.
The WorldWired Tour was launched to support the album WorldWired … to Self-Destruct, which was released on November 18th, 2016, but the tour has had such a public success that it still has dates in Europe until June 2019.
The band Metallica was created in 1981 from the union of drummer Lars Ulrich and guitarist and vocalist James Hetfield. They have sold 110 million albums throughout the world and have played on all seven continents, including Antarctica in 2013. They have received several multi-platinum albums, nine Grammy awards, two American Music Awards and several MTV Music Awards. In addition to all these achievements, they are in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Museum since 2009. If you are passionate about Thrash Metal or music in general, you can not miss the concert of the most influential band in history. Even if you’ve already attended a WorldWired Tour concert, you know it’s worth repeating this experience because it always leaves an unforgettable memory the fact to hear live classics like “Enter Sandman”, “Nothing Else Matters”, “Fade to Black” or “The Unforgiven”. The concerts of Metallica always manage to harmoniously gather people of the Old School and the new generations of Metal. The new wave of Metal enthusiasts are aware that you can not understand the current Metal without seeing in a live concert a legendary band of Metallica’s prestige.
Metallica will have this time both the Swedish Ghost and Bokassa as support bands. The band Bokassa was qualified by Larsh Ulrich literally as “my new favourite band”, fact that has given them a lot of popularity. We wait for you in La França Travellers!
